We start with organic, orchard grown and ripened pears from Perry County, Pennsylvania, and naturally ferment them for six to seven months. After the PCV reaches an optimal point, we strain and course filter to maintain turbidity, then bottle and cold-store it.
Our PCV is 100% raw and contains no additives or preservatives, and has not been heated, high pressure processed (HPP) or pasteurized. With a better nutritional profile than apple cider vinegar, pear cider vinegar offers a higher concentration of beneficial properties.
Pears contain loads of vitamins, minerals, phytonutrients, anti-cancer polyphenols, and anti-inflammatory and anti-aging flavonoids, that provide a host of health benefits. They are also one of the best sources of soluble fiber of all fruits.
Pear cider vinegar can aid in digestion by promoting regularity and to fight dehydration, balance pH levels, and even help in properly digesting minerals. High in soluble fiber and antioxidants, pears have the ability to fight chronic disease and diabetes, improve cardiovascular and bone health.
Mix with your favorite juice, tea, filtered water or just drink it straight. PCV also makes a great salad dressing right out of the bottle or mixed with a heart healthy oil. Just 1 to 2 ounces is all you need.
